IT Training Module and Tornado Relief

Because of the tornado that touched down in Tuscaloosa, AL on April 27, 2011, my partner and I did not complete the IT Training Module. Our original plan was on how to use the Digital Pipeline, an Alaska resource, and part of SLED (Statewide Library Electronic Doorway).

SLED is similar to the Alabama Virtual Library, and the Digital Pipeline is specifically for magazine, journal, and newspaper articles, and reference sources. For more information on SLED, go to http://sled.alaska.edu.

For more information about tornado relief in Alabama, please go to the Disaster Relief for Alabama LIBGuide, created by the efforts of Brandee Idleman, and other members of UA SLIS's Sixth Sense cohort.
