We are so excited that you have chosen to participate in recruitment here at The University of Alabama! As you make preparations to come to Tuscaloosa, we wanted to pass along some advice that we wish we would have known before coming to town. First, you'll never take your purse into any house, so don't hesitate to bring one that's large enough to hold things you might need such as a water bottle, snacks, your recruitment book, lip gloss, ACTion card, hand mirror, tissues, and anything else you might need during the day. Something you might want to put in your bag is a pair of flip-flops to wear when walking between houses and on breaks. Your feet will thank you around Wednesday. Invest in a small battery-operated fan to use between parties, and be sure to pack extra batteries! It gets hot in Tuscaloosa, so you will want to be as comfortable as possible.
