This year we are starting a point system much like AED's. This year (08-09) we are requiring 5 points. Following the spring semester, members who have not met their point requirements will be put on probabation. All the details for the point system will be placed in a new linked section when we have everything ironed out. Coming soon a spreadsheet, updated after every meeting, will be posted online so that you can keep track your points.

Upcoming Meetings and Dates of Importance:
All meetings will be held in room 202 Biology building at 7:00 pm unless otherwise specified. All meetings are worth 1 point unless otherwise noted.

Oct 17- 2-4:30 Aboredum service event. We will meet in front of the Bio building at 1:30 and leave at 1:45 for those who need a ride. Please email tribeta@bama.ua.edu if you are interested in attending so we can get a head count. (Worth 5 points)
Nov 10- Meeting located in the main Biology auditorium room 125 at 7pm. CDC speaker, and a pizza social
Dec 4- Christmas Mixer in room 202 Bio at 5pm. Invite professors you know to our social event that allows students to get to know their professors outside of the classroom.

We are open to suggestions on service projects for the entire chapter. We are hopefully planning a Tanglewood retreat in the spring. Stay tuned for more information. All service events are worth 5 points
