Generative
Cognition Laboratory
|
|
The Generative Cognition Laboratory conducts research on conceptual structures and
processes and the ways in which they guide or constrain generative thinking.
We examine the individual, cultural, linguistic, and situational factors that govern the retrieval
of existing knowledge and the projection of retrieved information to new situations.
We seek to understand the nature and origins of novel ideas,
and to foster the development
of creativity.
