Westminster Fellowship is a Presbyterian campus ministry group located on the grounds of  University Presbyterian Church, which lies in the shadow of Alabama's Bryant Denny Stadium. Although we are a PC(USA) ministry of First Presbyterian Church in Tuscaloosa, we are supported by numerous local churches. All are welcome!

We, Westminster Fellowship, a welcoming inclusive community of Christ followers, strive to strengthen our faith in God and our relationships with others.  Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we will embody Christ's love to the World through our words and actions.

Adopt - A - Student Program

 

The College Committee of First Presbyterian is starting an Adopt-A-Student program.  Families of First Pres. will sign up to “adopt” Westminster Fellowship students who wish to participate.

What does adoption entail? Some ideas:

• A monthly meal hosted by your "family"
•  Perhaps the use of their washer and dryer
• Need a reliable doctor...call your adopted family and find one
• car won't start...don't call AAA, your family might be able to jump you off

The level of interaction will differ with each family/student set.  The hope is that this ministry will provide WF students with a "home away from home."
