Hello! My name is Ross Reddick.  I graduated in May 2007 with a B.A. in Communication and Information Sciences (I was a public relations major).  I enjoyed my college experience at the University of Alabama, but have felt called to a vocation in ministry.  Aptly, I was granted a year-long internship with First Presbyterian Church after I graduated.  I plan to attend Columbia Theological Seminary beginning in the summer of 2008. My fiance, Leah Shelton, is finishing her degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering.  We will be married two weeks before I start Greek school.

This internship with First Presbyterian has been an invaluable experience.  I have been exposed to the day-to-day business side of Christ's church.  I have done hospital visits, worked with several committees, attended session meetings, taught Sunday school, been on youth retreats, and numerous other activities.  I imagine and hope that this experience will supplement my theological education in a ways that book-learning can't.

I believe that Christ calls everyone to a certain position in life.  This position will not only help fulfill God's master plan, but will fulfill the individual with a joy that this world doesn't know.
