Outreach

Some of our outreach programs to date this year:

We trick or treated for canned goods for the "Beat Auburn, Beat Hunger" food drive.  Around 15 students covered 2 blocks of houses near the student center.  We rang people's door, and most people said that we looked too old to be trick or treating.  We then told them who we were and that we were collecting canned food for the hungry in West Alabama.  All the students had a great time, some even wore their costumes!

We are also involved in helping serve at the Community Soup Bowl.  The large down-town churches began the soup bowl as a combined effort to help the hungry in Tuscaloosa.  The facility is open seven days a week for lunch; there is always an opportunity for you to help.
